Privacy Policy
Noisery ("the app", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices you have. Noisery has no user accounts and runs no server of its own — the only data leaving your device is what third-party Google services (advertising and analytics) need to function.
1. Developer
- App name: Noisery
- Contact: dev.creativesoft@gmail.com
2. Information we do NOT collect
Noisery has no sign-up or login, and does not send or collect any personal information to any server of ours. Your noise presets, timer, language and other settings are stored only on your device and are not accessible to the developer. The app does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, precise location, or files.
3. Third-party services (advertising & analytics)
Noisery uses a few Google services. These may collect and process the data below.
Google AdMob (advertising). Noisery is free and shows ads on some screens. To serve ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect:
- Advertising ID and device identifiers
- Device information (model, OS version, etc.)
- Approximate location based on IP address
- In-app ad interactions (impressions, clicks, etc.)
This is used to serve and measure ads, cap frequency, prevent fraud, and (where permitted) provide personalized advertising.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (usage analytics and crash reporting). We use Google's Firebase to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. These may collect:
- App interactions and screen views
- Device identifiers and device information
- Crash logs and diagnostic information
- Approximate location based on IP address
This data is processed by Google as our service provider to keep the app stable and improve the experience; it is not used to identify you personally.
Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). Where required, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You may choose non-personalized ads. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt governs access to the advertising identifier.
For details on Google's data practices: Google Ads policies & data use · How Google uses data · Google Privacy Policy.
4. Permissions
- Notifications (Android 13+): used to show playback status as a notification.
- Foreground service / media playback: used to keep noise playing while the screen is off.
These permissions are used only for on-device functionality and are not transmitted externally.
5. Your choices about advertising
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads to delete or reset your advertising ID
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Industry opt-outs: Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account data on our own servers, most of your data stays on your device (and is removed when you uninstall the app). Advertising data is handled by Google — you can exercise choices through Google's settings or your device settings above, or contact us and we will help where we can. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data retention
App data (presets and settings) remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Advertising-related data is retained by Google according to its own policies.
8. International data transfers
Google may process advertising data on servers located in other countries. Such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in Google's privacy documentation.
9. Children's privacy
Noisery is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA) and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The AdMob integration is configured as non-child-directed. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
10. Data security
Communication between the app and the ad network is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as needed. Changes will be posted on this page along with the updated revision date.
