Getting Started
How do I open a site from the home screen?
Tap any site tile on the home screen to open it in the built-in browser.
How does search work?
The search bar autocompletes suggestions pulled from your browsing history and common terms, so you can get to what you need with fewer keystrokes.
Mini Player & Background Play
When does the Mini Player activate?
The Mini Player activates when you leave a video screen on supported sites. It slides into a floating window so you can keep watching while you do other things.
Does audio keep playing when I lock the screen?
Yes. Background play continues audio when the screen locks or when you switch to another app, so it's great for music and podcasts.
Why doesn't Mini Player work on some sites?
Mini Player requires website player support for Picture in Picture. Some sites do not implement PiP, so the feature may not be available there.
Bookmarks & History
How do I save a page?
Tap the star icon to save the current page to your home screen.
Where is my browsing history?
The History tab displays the pages you've visited in chronological order.
How do I delete history entries?
Swipe an individual entry to delete it, or use the bulk clearing option in Settings to remove everything at once.
Themes & Languages
Can I change the theme?
CozyView follows your device's system appearance automatically, switching between light and dark mode as your system does.
What languages does the app support?
The app adapts to your device language settings.
Privacy & Data
Does CozyView upload my data?
Bookmarks, history, and settings are stored on your device only — no server uploads. CozyView uses Google AdMob and Firebase for analytics and crash reporting. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to use CozyView.
